Fitting in
A two storey addition is placed at the rear
of the house. The idea was to make the new work appear as though it were a small building next
to the another building. By treating the new work as a separate piece the overall scale of the house and adjacent
patio is made more intimate and enclosed. The coloured portions of the
photograph represent new work and and the uncoloured portions represent
existing.
